Include the target gas and measuring range, the process or equipment where a release could occur, and whether the task is mobile inspection or continuous monitoring. Describe the installation location, sample access, temperature, moisture and contamination. Add the available power, required output signals, local alarm needs, receiving controller or system interface, and required project documents. These inputs let the technical team evaluate a detector configuration against the actual task.
Specify where the alarm must be received and what action the site expects it to initiate. Then identify the receiving controller or system, power supply, required signal type and any relay or local alarm requirements. Review these interfaces together with the proposed detector configuration. An available output does not by itself confirm compatibility with every controller or define the site response procedure.
