An explosion-protected gas alarm controller with one 4–20 mA input as standard, expandable to eight, plus up to 128 RS485 detector inputs.

Explosion-protected gas alarm control

MIC-1000-Ex receives 4–20 mA and RS485 signals from compatible gas detectors in hazardous-area monitoring systems.

The standard controller uses one 4–20 mA input, four control relay groups and one common output. Higher input counts and expanded relay, analog, wireless and Ethernet functions are selected for the project.
